The contest features three main categories for character skins (Men's, Women's, and Unisex) plus a bonus category for Fellow skins, allowing participants to redesign either the Hagios Sheepdog or Vespers Hunting Dog companions.

What are the submission requirements?
Nexon has established strict guidelines to ensure fair competition:
- Only accounts with verifiable The First Descendant gameplay records can participate
- Designs must be created using official templates provided for each category
- All submissions must display all sides of the character/fellow (Front, Back, Left, Right)
- Participants must submit proof of their design process with early, mid, and late-stage sketches
- AI-generated content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification
Participants can submit up to one design per category (maximum four entries total), though only one submission per participant can advance to the finals. Finalists will need to provide their original PSD files for verification.
Technical Considerations for Designers
Aspiring skin designers should be aware of certain technical limitations:
- Designs where head and body skins are connected cannot be implemented
- Designs that alter character or fellow joint positions aren't feasible
- Winning designs may appear differently in-game due to technical limitations
All submissions require a working size of 4800x2592px for the original PSD file, though website submissions should be 1280x800px JPG files under 2MB. For unisex skin designs, finalists must provide both male and female versions.
Intellectual Property Rights
