Nexon Games is reaching out to The First Descendant community for feedback on upcoming Multi-Hit Chance and Multi-Hit Damage stats. These new weapon attributes aim to expand build diversity, but developers are carefully considering implementation methods to avoid diluting existing stat pools.
Multi-Hit Stats Coming to Expand Weapon Build Options
Director Minseok Joo and the development team announced on May 12, 2025, that they're planning to introduce new Multi-Hit Chance and Multi-Hit Damage stats for weapons in The First Descendant. These stats would be available through both Weapon Core and Weapon Readjustment systems, potentially opening up fresh build possibilities for players.
The team is particularly interested in community input regarding how these stats should be implemented without disrupting existing meta builds. Currently, many players prioritize Firearm ATK and similar attributes when customizing their weapons.

How Will Multi-Hit Stats Be Implemented?
The simplest approach would be adding these new stats to the existing Firepower Augmentation Core options. However, this raises concerns about diluting the stat pool, potentially making it harder for players to roll desired stats like Firearm ATK.
To address this, the development team is considering three alternative approaches:
- Creating an entirely new core type specifically for multi-hit stats
- Allowing existing weapons to utilize these new cores in Free Slots
- Adding dedicated slots for the new core type in future weapon releases
These options aim to preserve the effectiveness of current builds while introducing new customization paths for players interested in experimenting with multi-hit mechanics.

How Can Players Provide Feedback?
Since the feature is still in planning stages, the development team is actively seeking community input. Players can share their thoughts through:
- The Discord feedback channel "update-sampler"
- Comments on X (Twitter) or YouTube Community posts
This collaborative approach highlights Nexon Games' commitment to involving the community in The First Descendant's ongoing development since its July 2024 release.
