Edge of Fate Preview Content Drops June 3
With Edge of Fate approximately seven weeks from release, Bungie has begun ramping up its promotional efforts. Content creators recently had hands-on time with the expansion at Bungie HQ, and their previews will begin appearing online on June 3 at 9:00 AM Pacific. These previews will include footage of the first mission and gameplay from the Kepler destination.
The preview content will feature prominent creators including Aztecross, Datto, FalloutPlays, KackisHD, and several others. Players looking to avoid spoilers should be cautious about what content they consume in the coming weeks.
For those wanting more information, Bungie has scheduled two official livestreams on June 24 and July 1 (both at 10:00 AM PDT) to further showcase the expansion's features, including the new gear tiers, Armor 3.0 system, and a mysterious feature called "The Portal."
Prophecy Dungeon Returns to Rotation
The Prophecy dungeon will be the next featured activity in the Rite of the Nine rotation starting June 3. Players can look forward to two new quests offering special weapons from the dungeon, along with new lore to discover and challenges to overcome.
Bungie has outlined the upcoming rotation schedule:
- June 3-17: Prophecy dungeon available
- June 10: Increased rewards and weapon drops from enemies
- June 17-24: All Rite of the Nine dungeons available with increased currency drops
- June 24-July 8: All dungeons available with rotating increased currency rewards
- July 8-15: "Lootapalooza" with increased rewards in all dungeons and new ways to spend Nonary Manifold currency
What's Coming for Pride Month?
Bungie is celebrating Pride Month with several in-game items available from June 3 through July 1. Players can purchase the new Pride Shader Pack for 800 Silver, featuring four vibrant shaders: Indivisible, Boundless, Tenth Muse, and True Self. For each purchase, $5.50 will be donated to Advocates for Trans Equality Education Fund.
Additionally, all players can redeem a free 'Prismatic Expanse' shader using code D6T-3JR-CKX. The Pride Collectible Pin 2.0 with the Infinite Prismatic emblem will also be available, with $7 from each purchase going to the It Gets Better organization.
Known Issues Affecting Gameplay
Bungie has acknowledged several issues currently affecting gameplay, including:
- Problems with Exotic armor functionality, including Rime-Coat Raiment crystals not granting Devour
- Enhanced Recycled Energy not returning energy as intended
- Quest progression issues with the Drowning Labyrinth and Tome of Want quests
