Get ready for some explosive action as eight content creator teams face off in the Heavy Metal tournament from May 9-11. This high-octane event will feature teams battling with heavy machinery like Brigs and tanks—expect chaos of the best kind!
Viewers can earn the Mad Dog emblem by watching any opted-in Destiny 2 streamer on Twitch for one hour between May 9 at 10AM PT and May 16 at 10AM PT.

Update 8.2.6: Weapon Overhaul and Ability Tuning
Update 8.2.6 drops on May 6, 2025, bringing substantial changes to the sandbox. Pulse rifles, hand cannons, and auto rifles are getting much-needed attention, while several exotics receive meaningful adjustments. Prismatic Super cooldown penalties are being reduced from 10% to 5%, and Scatter Grenades will deal 15% less damage in PvP—bad news for those Void grenade spammers!

Bungie is celebrating Asian American Native Hawai'ian Pacific Islander Heritage Month with a special charity campaign. Donate $10 to International Community Health Services through the Bungie Foundation to receive the beautiful Harmonic Waves emblem. The campaign runs through May 31, 2025.
