Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 03 Reloaded is set to launch on May 1, 2025, at 9AM PT across all platforms. This massive mid-season update introduces significant changes to both multiplayer and Warzone, including the long-awaited addition of a moving train to Verdansk, two new multiplayer maps, Battle Royale Ranked Play, and exciting limited-time events featuring Seth Rogen.
Verdansk Gets Major Upgrades with Moving Train and Ranked Play
Warzone's Verdansk map receives its most substantial update yet with the introduction of a functional moving train loaded with high-tier loot. Players can board the train to find valuable gear or complete the new Train Recon contract for additional rewards. The update also introduces High Value Loot Zones scattered across the map, offering better equipment for those willing to risk the increased player traffic.
For competitive players, Season 03 Reloaded marks the debut of Battle Royale Ranked Play in Verdansk - a first for the iconic map. This ranked mode will feature its own progression system and exclusive rewards for top performers. Additionally, players can enjoy two new Limited Time Modes: High Trip Resurgence, where you deploy with random weapons and find Shades for power-ups, and Massive Resurgence featuring 120 players.
Two New Multiplayer Maps and Joint Operations Mode
Multiplayer fans can look forward to two new battlegrounds: Haven, a mid-sized map set in a neglected KGB safehouse estate, and Signal, a small-sized Numbers Station map featuring dynamic water flooding. Both maps offer distinct gameplay experiences with various engagement distances and strategic opportunities.
The new Joint Operations Limited Time Mode introduces an innovative multi-round challenge where gameplay modifiers change between rounds. These modifiers include 3rd Person perspective, Visual Impairment, Double Health, Low Gravity, Double Jump, and Increased Movement Speed, creating fresh gameplay experiences with each match.
What's new for Zombies players?
Zombies mode receives several exciting additions, including the return of the Frost Blast Field Upgrade with freezing capabilities and various augments. The Ray Gun Mark II, a fan-favorite wonder weapon, is now available in the Mystery Box across all Zombies maps, while Shattered Veil gets a new Directed Mode with round cap limitations and additional guidance.
The Zombie Snacks Limited Time Mode offers a unique twist on survival, replacing the traditional health system with an energy meter that depletes when moving or taking damage. Players must find food items throughout the map to replenish their energy and stay alive.
New Weapons, Perks, and In-Game Events
Season 03 Reloaded introduces the Ladra SMG, featuring a high fire rate with excellent range and low recoil, making it a versatile option for close to mid-range engagements. The update also adds the 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion for the Goblin Mk2, giving the weapon explosive capabilities.
The new Vendetta Perk marks enemies who have eliminated you, allowing for easier revenge eliminations and providing bonus score for successfully taking them down. This perk can be unlocked through the Blaze of Glory event running from May 6-15.
Three in-game events will run during Season 03 Reloaded: High Art featuring Seth Rogen (May 1-15), Blaze of Glory (May 6-15), and C.O.D.E. Military Appreciation Month beginning May 1. Each event offers unique rewards and challenges for players to complete.
