Wargaming announced the start of the sale on November 15, 2025, unveiling a roster of powerful "Black" series ships. These vessels are known for being strong performers in their respective tiers and are often only available during this yearly event. This year's featured lineup is stacked with community favorites.
A Roster of Heavy Hitters
The main draw of the event is always the ships, and this year's collection doesn't disappoint. Players have a chance to acquire some true meta contenders:
- IX JEAN BART B: A Tier IX French battleship famed for its all-forward main battery and Main Battery Reload Booster consumable, allowing for devastating bursts of damage.
- IX ALASKA B: The legendary Tier IX American large cruiser, often called a "battlecruiser," known for its heavy armor, powerful 12-inch guns, and critical utility with Surveillance Radar.
- VIII MASSACHUSETTS B: A Tier VIII American battleship that excels in close-quarters brawls thanks to its potent secondary batteries and a fast-recharging Repair Party.
- IX BLACK B: A unique Tier IX American destroyer that trades its Smoke Generator for a Surveillance Radar consumable, making it an exceptional anti-destroyer platform.
What makes these 'B' ships special?
While the sleek black camouflage is the most obvious feature, the real value for many players is access to ships that are otherwise unavailable. The original Jean Bart, Massachusetts, and Alaska have all been removed from direct sale, making their "B" variants the only reliable way for most players to acquire these gameplay-defining vessels.
Functionally, the "B" ships have identical stats, consumables, and performance characteristics to their original premium counterparts. The only difference is the permanent black camouflage. If you already own the original, there's no gameplay advantage to getting the Black version, but for everyone else, this is the main opportunity to add them to your port.
The Black Friday sale is a limited-time event, so captains looking to bolster their fleet with these iconic warships should check the Armory and Premium Shop before they sail away for another year.
