This new warship brings more firepower to the growing Pan-American tech tree, giving captains another vessel to train commanders and earn credits with. However, the acquisition method is the main story here.
Two Paths to Command
Wargaming has provided two distinct ways to obtain the Comandante Aguirre before it becomes more widely available. Both options are available in the Armory until November 26, 2025.
Your first option is the Admiral Pack. This is the straightforward, direct-purchase route. It guarantees you the ship and a collection of cosmetic extras, including:
- VIII Comandante Aguirre with a Port slot and 10-skill-point Commander
- Waves of Copacabana permanent camouflage
- Triple Detonation permanent effect
- A commemorative flag
The second option is through Aguirre’s Command random bundles, which are purchased with Doubloons. This is the game-of-chance approach. While you might get lucky and acquire the ship in one of the early bundles, it's not guaranteed. There are 17 bundles in total, and the system includes a pity mechanic: if you buy all 17, you are guaranteed to receive the cruiser. This is for players willing to roll the dice for a potential discount or those who plan to buy them all anyway for the other resources inside.
How should you get the Comandante Aguirre?
The choice boils down to your budget and tolerance for RNG. If you absolutely want the ship and its cosmetics without any fuss, the Admiral Pack is your best bet. If you feel lucky or are interested in the other items within the random bundles, the Aguirre's Command route might be more appealing, but be prepared for the possibility of having to go all-in to secure the grand prize.
Either way, the Comandante Aguirre adds another tactical option for fans of cruiser gameplay and a valuable asset for the Pan-American fleet. Check the Armory in-game to see the exact pricing and decide which path is right for you.
