Great news for Azeroth's adventurers! World of Warcraft is reviving the fan-favorite Greedy Emissary event starting July 1, 2025. Get ready to hunt down sneaky goblins and score some seriously wicked loot with a Diablo twist!
Diabolical Challenges Await in Greedy Emissary
Blizzard Entertainment is bringing back the Greedy Emissary event, where players must team up to thwart Treasure Goblins wreaking havoc across the land. Defeat these pesky foes to snag Hellcaller Chests, which contain Hellstone Shards—a special currency for this event. Head to Hellhunter Baranar in Dornogal to trade shards for exclusive rewards, including hellish armor sets that are sure to turn heads.
Boosted Loot with Collector's Bounty Buff
During the event, the Collector's Bounty buff will enhance drop rates for transmog items and mounts in legacy dungeons and raids from Shadowlands and earlier. Note that Timewalking and Dragonflight content won't benefit from this buff, so plan your farming routes accordingly. This is the perfect chance to grab those elusive cosmetics you've been eyeing!
What's New in This Event?
Expect a heavy dose of Diablo-inspired flair, continuing the crossover tradition between these Blizzard franchises. While some armor sets for classes like Warlock and Monk are already earning praise, others have sparked debate among players. Accessibility concerns and potential lag in crowded zones are also hot topics in the community.
