Riot Games has unveiled the details for Valorant Champions Paris 2025, the pinnacle event of the VCT Season. The month-long tournament will run from September 12 to October 5 across two prestigious French venues, featuring 16 top teams from the four International Leagues competing for the world championship title.
Champions Paris Introduces New Fan Verification System
In a move to ensure genuine fans have access to tickets, Riot is implementing a verification system similar to what was used for the 2024 League of Legends World Championship. Only players with active Riot Accounts created before April 1, 2025, and who have a record of Valorant gameplay will be eligible to purchase tickets.
The verification process will run from May 30 through June 15 on the Champions Ticket Eligibility page. Verified players will receive a one-time use access code via email in July, though verification doesn't guarantee ticket availability.
Dual Venue Experience for the World Championship
Champions Paris will begin at Les Arènes de Grand Paris Sud in Evry-Courcouronnes before culminating at the iconic Accor Arena in Paris. This dual-venue approach provides an escalating atmosphere as the tournament progresses toward its finale.
The competition is structured in three distinct phases:
- Group Stage (September 12-22) at Les Arènes de Grand Paris Sud
- Bracket Stage (September 25-29) at Les Arènes de Grand Paris Sud
- Arena Stage (October 3-5) at Accor Arena
When Can You Buy Tickets?
General ticket sales will begin on July 10, 2025, at 3AM PT/12PM CEST/6PM KST. Mastercard holders get early access with a presale on July 9, 2025, at the same times.
Riot has promised to share additional information about ticket tiers and pricing closer to the sale date on the official ticket sales websites.
The Road to Champions
The sixteen teams competing at Champions Paris will have earned their spots through a season-long gauntlet of regular season matches and global events across the four International Leagues: VCT Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China.
For Valorant esports fans, Champions represents the culmination of the competitive year and the definitive showcase of the world's best talent. Previous Champions events have delivered some of the most memorable moments in the game's competitive history.
With this new verification system in place, Riot appears committed to creating a genuine fan experience while managing the high demand expected for the event.
