Riot Games has announced the return of the NA Valorant Console Open for its second iteration this May, featuring a $10,000 prize pool. The three-day tournament celebrates Valorant's 5-year anniversary and is open to all North American console players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Tournament Structure and Schedule

The competition kicks off with a double-elimination bracket on May 16, 2025, at 7:00 PM ET (4:00 PM PT), continuing through May 17. The top four teams will advance to a single-elimination bracket for the semifinals and championship match on May 18, beginning at 1:00 PM ET.

Teams will compete in best-of-1 matches using the Competitive game mode. Beyond the main tournament, participants can earn additional rewards through the Bounty system, which offers prizes for accomplishing specific objectives throughout the event.

How Can Players Register?

Registration remains open until May 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM ET (10:00 AM PT). Interested players can sign up at start.gg/NACONSOLEOPEN. All teams must have five players to participate. Solo players looking for teammates can join the VALORANT LFG Discord server.

Viewer Participation and Streaming

In an interesting twist, viewers will have the opportunity to influence certain Bounty prize winners, adding an interactive element to the competition. Fans can catch all the action live on Twitch at /valorant_americas or on YouTube via @valorant_americas.

Defending Champions

The tournament's inaugural champions, The Avengers, led by NBA Lig, claimed victory in January 2025. They'll likely return to defend their title against a growing field of console competitors as Valorant's console community continues to expand following the game's platform extension beyond PC.

The event is operated in partnership with eFuse and represents Riot Games' ongoing commitment to supporting competitive play across all platforms as Valorant celebrates its fifth anniversary since its original June 2020 release.
