Service History Matters
In a game where we spend hundreds of hours grinding for God-rolls, it's nice to see a reward drop simply for showing up over the years. The Veteran Rewards event categorizes players into three tiers—Gold, Silver, and Bronze—determined by your very first login date.
While every tier grants access to the new weaponry, the aesthetic prestige differs. Gold Tier is reserved for the original wave of agents who deployed around the March 2019 launch window (specifically before March 11, 2019, covering early access periods). Silver covers players who joined up until January 1, 2025, while Bronze welcomes the newest recruits. It's a small nod to the 'Old Guard' who stuck with the game through the Warlords of New York expansion and the seasonal restructuring.
The Meta Impact: Stack Broker ACS-12
The headline reward here isn't just cosmetic—it's the Stack Broker, a new named variant of the ACS-12 automatic shotgun. If you are familiar with the current meta, you know the ACS-12 is already the best-in-slot secondary weapon for building stacks on gear sets like Heartbreaker or Striker's Battlegear.
The Stack Broker takes this utility role to the extreme. It features an increased rate of fire at the cost of reduced base damage. For a pure DPS build, a damage reduction sounds like a nerf. However, for a stack-building utility weapon, this is actually a significant buff. The goal of the ACS-12 in these builds isn't to kill with the shotgun itself; it's to reach 100 stacks of your gear set bonus as fast as possible before switching to your primary assault rifle or LMG. A higher fire rate means you hit that maximum damage potential faster, making this a must-have tool for incursions and legendary strongholds.
How do I claim my Veteran Reward?
The process is automatic but time-sensitive. You simply need to log in to your account between now and January 6, 2026. The rewards, determined by your account's creation date, will be delivered directly to your inventory or mailbox. Note that the Stack Broker cannot be deconstructed, likely to prevent accidental deletion of a unique event item.
