For agents who have already conquered the Season Pass in Tom Clancy's The Division 2, the grind is about to get rewarding again. A new limited-time "Rank Up" event is running from November 18 to December 2, giving players a reason to keep earning XP long after hitting tier 100.
This event introduces a new progression track that activates automatically once you've completed the main Season Pass. From there, every time you earn enough XP to level up your SHD Watch, you'll also gain a "Rank Up." It's a straightforward system designed to reward continued play, but remember: progression is based solely on Season XP activities. You won't be able to use level skips to speed through this one.
New Caches, Better Loot Odds
The core of this event is two new types of reward caches. Every time you rank up, you'll earn a standard Rank Up Cache. These contain a mix of gear and resources, with a chance to drop vanity items, rare named gear like the Lexington, and even exotics such as the Shroud or Nemesis.
The real prize, however, is the Prestige Rank Up Cache, which you'll receive every 10 ranks. This premium cache significantly boosts your odds of getting top-tier loot. It guarantees both a vanity item and a named item, and offers a much higher probability of dropping an exotic compared to its standard counterpart. This makes the Prestige Cache the primary target for any agent hunting for specific high-end gear.
Is the Rank Up grind worth it?
For players who are still on the hunt for specific exotics or elusive named items, absolutely. The Rank Up event provides a focused, predictable path to earning caches with improved drop rates. Instead of relying purely on random world drops, you can target the Prestige Caches for a better shot at completing your build or collection. It’s a solid incentive to jump back into D.C. and clean up the streets before the event ends on December 2.
