This is a significant milestone for players on the Hyperboost servers. Essentially, the training wheels are coming off, and the isolated economy is being folded into the broader world of Solisium. While this opens up a much larger market for buyers and sellers, it requires some immediate housekeeping before the maintenance hits.
How the Market Merge Works
During the scheduled maintenance on December 3, the separate Hyperboost Auction House will cease to exist. NCSOFT is opting for a clean slate approach rather than attempting to migrate active live listings directly into the regional pool. This prevents market sniping and potential database conflicts during the transition.
If you have items listed or sales pending, here is exactly what will happen to your assets:
- Active Listings: Any items currently up for sale will be forcefully expired. They will be returned directly to the seller (or the Guild, depending on the listing type).
- Uncollected Lucent: If you have sold items but haven't claimed your Lucent yet, the currency will be expired from the UI and sent directly to you.
What should I do before December 3?
While the system is designed to return your items safely, relying on automated mail systems during a massive server merge is always a bit risky in any MMORPG. The safest play is to manually cancel your auctions and collect your Lucent a few hours before maintenance begins. This ensures your inventory is exactly where you expect it to be when the servers come back up.
Full Inter-Server Integration
The economy isn't the only thing merging. This update marks the full integration of Hyperboost characters into the legacy server ecosystem for instanced content. Following the maintenance, all inter-server activities will be shared across the region.
This includes:
- Co-op Dungeons
- Battlegrounds
- Nebula Island
- Guild vs. Guild (GvG) encounters
For Hyperboost players, this means the matchmaking pool just got significantly deeper—and likely more difficult. You will now be queuing with and against veterans from the launch servers. If you've been relying on the accelerated progression of Hyperboost to gear up, now is the time to finalize those builds, because the competition in Solisium is about to get much fiercer.
