Throne and Liberty has announced its first 12-player raid, Altar of Calanthia, launching on June 26. To prepare players for this challenge, a special Road to Raid event begins May 29, featuring progressive activities and rewards designed to help adventurers gear up for the ultimate confrontation with Calanthia, the Command Marshal General of the Arkeum Legion.
Road to Raid: A Progressive Path to Power
The Road to Raid event is structured in two phases, each offering different activities and valuable rewards. Players who participate will gradually build their strength to face the formidable raid boss who is attempting to resurrect Revillele Lupius – a threat to all of Solisium.
Phase 1 runs from May 29 to June 12, focusing on Co-Op Dungeons and Field Boss activities. Completing these challenges rewards players with 7 million Sollant and 60 Rare Artifact Selection Chests – essential resources for the upcoming raid.
Phase 2 follows from June 12 to June 26, shifting focus to Dimensional Trials and Dynamic Event PvP. These more challenging activities will reward participants with Nebula Conquest Chests, further boosting their readiness for the raid.
What special events accompany Road to Raid?
Three complementary events will run alongside the main Road to Raid activities:
- Mystic Globe Sollant Event: Lucky Bags replace Mystic Globes and Portals throughout Solisium, offering additional rewards and Sollant items.
- Fortune's Calling: Running from May 29 to June 4, this event rewards players for completing various activities with tiered rewards.
- Omen of Chaos: From June 5 to June 26, players can collect Traces of Chaos from Amitoi Expeditions, Mystic Portals, and other activities for special rewards.
Guild Raid Archboss: Tevent Returns With New Challenges
A special variant of the Tevent Guild Raid will be available from June 12 to June 29. This limited-time version features new mechanics and altered loot tables, offering Throne and Liberty veterans a fresh challenge against a familiar foe.
The main attraction, Altar of Calanthia, will launch with both normal and hard difficulty options. The developers have also teased a third difficulty tier planned for future release, suggesting even greater challenges await the most skilled raid teams.
Preparing for the Ultimate Challenge
The progressive structure of Road to Raid is designed to gradually increase difficulty while providing increasingly valuable rewards. Players are encouraged to participate in all phases to maximize their preparation for the raid.
Whether you're gathering your guild for Abyss Dungeons, taking on Field Bosses, or improving your PvP skills in Dynamic Events, each activity contributes to your readiness for Throne and Liberty's first major raid challenge.
With Calanthia's ritual threatening to unleash a nightmare upon Solisium, players have until June 26 to prepare before facing this formidable opponent in what promises to be an epic confrontation.
