Throne and Liberty is rolling out Update 2.10.0 on May 14, 2025, bringing significant new features and quality-of-life improvements to the popular MMORPG. The update introduces a special Guild Raid event featuring Queen Bellandir, enhanced fishing rewards, a new War Games Spectator Mode, and increased equipment drop rates across various content types.
Queen Bellandir Returns with Guild Raid Event
From May 15 through May 29, 2025, guilds can participate in a special version of the Queen Bellandir fight through the Guild Call to Arms: Archboss Guild Raid Event. This adjusted encounter is balanced for smaller player groups and can be attempted twice weekly during the event period. The raid guarantees drops of Tier 2 armor, Tier 2 accessories, and non-boss Nebula Island accessories, with a chance for Arch Boss Weapons or Accessories.
Fishing Bonuses Event Hooks Players
Anglers can look forward to a Special Bait Event running from May 15 to May 22, 2025. Special fishing bait will be available from event NPCs in Kastleton, Vienta Village, and Herba Village. This limited-time bait works for fishers of all levels, providing bonus Fishing experience and additional items when used successfully.
What's New in War Games?
The update introduces a highly requested Spectator Mode for War Games, allowing players to observe matches through two different camera options. The Free Camera lets spectators fly freely around match spaces and save specific camera angles to function keys, while the Target Follow Camera locks onto selected players. Match owners retain control over spectator access through privacy settings.
Equipment Drop Rate Increases
After analyzing player feedback and gameplay data, NCSOFT has increased equipment drop rates across multiple content types, with a focus on making Tier 2 equipment more accessible. The improved rates apply to Guild Raids, Field Bosses, 3-Star Dungeons, Hall of Illusion, Abyss Dungeons, Nebula Island, and Material Transmutation rewards.
Quality of Life Improvements
Update 2.10.0 brings numerous quality-of-life enhancements to Throne and Liberty, including:
- Map pin sharing via chat links
- Guild teleportation to controlled zones
- Party Board favorites feature
- Recently used stickers category in chat
- PlayStation 5 controller vibration restoration
- Combat adjustments, including camera shake removal
- Various weapon fixes and cosmetic improvements
Update Schedule
The update downtime will begin at 10:30 PM PT on May 14, 2025 (5:30 AM UTC on May 15, 2025) and is expected to last approximately 3 hours. Players should plan accordingly to experience all the new content and features as soon as the servers return online.
