Throne and Liberty players can look forward to a substantial update arriving soon. Update 2.6.0 introduces weapon dyeing, new bosses, and significant changes to the Hall of Illusion. The update maintenance begins on April 16, 2024, at 10:30 PM PT (5:30 AM UTC on April 17) and may last up to 8 hours.
Customize Your Arsenal with Weapon Dyeing
Players can finally personalize their weapons with the new dyeing system added to the Mirror Boutique. Select weapon skin lines including Stormcaller, Abyssal, Sanguine, and Fortunate Weapons will be eligible for color customization. This long-requested feature arrives alongside new print patterns for outfit customizations, giving adventurers more ways to stand out in Solisium.
Hall of Illusion Streamlined
The challenging Hall of Illusion receives a significant overhaul, with difficulty tiers reduced from five to three. Two new formidable bosses, Verence and Marta, will enter the rotation beginning April 17, 2024. These newcomers offer coveted Nebula Island necklaces and belts as potential rewards. NCSOFT notes that earring and bracelet accessories will return to the loot pool when previous bosses make their comeback.

What's Changing for Guild Activities?
Guild-focused players will appreciate the increased Activity Point values for Dominion and Guild vs. Guild bosses. This adjustment aims to better reward organized group play, though peace mode bosses will now grant slightly fewer Activity Points to balance the economy. Additionally, new nameplate colors will help distinguish Vanguard party members during intense battles.
Quality-of-Life Improvements
Update 2.6.0 addresses numerous pain points across Throne and Liberty. The Nebula Island event schedule will now run on server region time for better clarity. Players will find improved Weapon Mastery node text descriptions, increased Training Dummy health values, and higher quantities of Abundance Fruit and Mastery Report in the Abyssal Star Battle Pass Shop.
Bug Fixes and Technical Improvements
Several technical issues have been resolved, including collision problems in the Chapel of Madness and Halls of Tragedy, the Daigon reset issue, and the Wand's Blessed Barrier Duration Increased Specialization. The update also fixes Exploration Codex issues, Guild Tag editing problems, various weapon skin appearance glitches, equipment stat display errors, and multiple UI and controller issues.
With these substantial changes, Throne and Liberty continues to evolve based on player feedback since its December 2023 launch. The combination of new customization options, streamlined challenges, and numerous quality-of-life improvements demonstrates NCSOFT's commitment to refining the free-to-play MMORPG experience.
