Full Circle has confirmed that skate. Season 2, titled "Future Radical," launches on December 2, 2025. This update pushes the game further into social territory with dedicated Co-op features and Party Voice Chat, alongside significant mechanical expansions including the long-awaited addition of Impossibles.
New Tricks: Impossibles and Handplant Diversity
For the technical skaters, the biggest news in Season 2 is the expansion of the trick book. The Impossible—wrapping the board vertically around the back foot—is officially being added to the game's physics-based flick system. This fills a major gap in the flatground repertoire that players have been asking for since the playtests began.
Transition skaters are also getting a massive overhaul. The developers are moving away from generic lip tricks by introducing 16 new Handplant variants. This drastically increases style expression on vert, allowing players to choose specific grabs and tweaks rather than relying on a singular animation.
Co-op and "Own the Lot"
Social play is getting a structural rework. Season 2 introduces a proper Co-op mode supported by Party Voice Chat, meaning you no longer have to rely on external software like Discord just to coordinate a line with console friends.
What is the Own the Lot mode?
Piggybacking off the new social features is a new game mode called "Own the Lot." This is a cooperative challenge mode where parties must complete as many Requirements (Reqs) as possible within a set time limit. Unlike solo challenges, this mode encourages crews to split up and tackle different objectives simultaneously or work together to clear difficult spots efficiently.
Map Expansions and Progression Tuning
San Vansterdam is growing again. Two new skateable areas are opening up:
- Casper Hotel Rooftop: Likely a high-risk, high-reward spot with plenty of gaps.
- Eelside Tunnel: Expect tight transitions and speed lines.
On the progression side, the skate.Pass is being retuned. Full Circle has increased the total number of seasonal challenges to 120 and boosted the availability of Tix. This addresses player feedback regarding the grind, aiming to make unlocking cosmetics feel more consistent throughout the season.
Season 2 runs through March 3, 2026, with the "Winter Roll-Stice" event kicking off shortly after launch on December 16.
