Coffee Stain Studios has released a substantial experimental update for Satisfactory, addressing numerous bugs and adding quality-of-life improvements. The v1.1.0.4 update primarily focuses on fixing Conveyor Throughput Monitor issues, enhancing controller support, and introducing Ukrainian as an officially supported language.
Major Conveyor and System Fixes
The most significant improvements in this update address the Conveyor Throughput Monitor, which previously displayed incorrect values or disappeared entirely after saving and loading. Players who experienced these issues should find their factories running much more smoothly after the update.
Other critical fixes include resolving problems with automatic blueprint connections, correcting visual glitches with items on conveyor belts attached to reversed lifts, and preventing pioneers from falling through the world when saving inside a moving Personnel Elevator.
Quality-of-Life Improvements
Factory engineers will appreciate the added nudging support for both Personnel Elevators and Conveyor Wall Holes, allowing for more precise placement. In response to community feedback, Coffee Stain has also removed ADA's commentary that would play during regular building sessions.
What controller improvements does the update include?
Controller users benefit from numerous enhancements, including improved default configurations, the ability to hide the HUD while in vehicles, and fixed button prompts in various menus. Steam Deck users specifically will notice better controller support with updated default configurations designed to improve the overall experience.
The update changes controllers to default to native implementation instead of Steam Input, though players can still enable Steam Input through the game properties if needed. Several fixes address haptics issues in multiplayer, flickering radial hotbars, and focus loss when managing blueprints.
Ukrainian Language Support
In a welcome addition, Satisfactory now includes Ukrainian as an officially supported language. Coffee Stain credits UnlocTeam for the Ukrainian localization, expanding accessibility for Ukrainian-speaking players. The update also refreshes all community-translated languages with the latest translations.
Experimental Update Cautions
As with all experimental updates, Coffee Stain strongly recommends backing up save files before trying the new version. If the experimental build proves too unstable, players can always revert to the default version of the game and restore their saves.
Players encountering issues or who have feedback about the update are encouraged to report them on the official QA Site, where the development team actively reviews submissions.
