The Golden Spatula has returned to the Rift. Riot Games officially confirmed that All Random Ultra Rapid Fire (ARURF) is back in rotation for League of Legends. The high-speed, low-cooldown chaos kicks off with Patch 25.23 and will run through the end of Patch 25.24.
Time to Break Your Q Key
For the uninitiated, ARURF takes the standard URF formula—infinite mana, massive ability haste, and ridiculous attack speed buffs—and forces random champion selection. This removes the stale meta that often plagues standard URF, where you see the same Zed, Hecarim, or Fizz players dominating every single match. Instead, you have to make do with what the RNG gods give you, forcing players to adapt on the fly or burn their rerolls aggressively.
The mode retains the signature Champion Cannon, allowing you to launch yourself across the map for instant engagement (or to intentionally feed if you miscalculate the landing). It’s fast, it’s loud, and it’s the perfect palate cleanser if your ranked climb has stalled out.
How long will ARURF be live?
This isn't a permanent addition. Riot has locked this rotation for a two-patch cycle. It begins with Patch 25.23 and concludes when Patch 25.24 wraps up. Since we are currently in late 2025, this gives players roughly a month of uptime to farm tokens, test ridiculous builds, and enjoy the sensory overload before the mode goes back into the vault.
If you've been waiting to unleash a full AP Malphite or attack speed Braum without worrying about mana costs, now is your window.
