Season 2 of League of Legends continues with Patch 25.10, introducing the lightning-fast Brawl game mode, extensive AP item adjustments, champion balance updates, and three stunning new skins. The patch goes live on May 13, 2025, with features rolling out throughout the week.
Brawl Mode: Fast-Paced Team Death Match Arrives
The highlight of Patch 25.10 is the introduction of Brawl, a quick 10-minute team death match set in Bandle City. Teams start with 250 health points, and the first to reduce their opponent's health to zero claims victory. Players can deal damage through champion takedowns (5 damage), minion eliminations (1 damage), and by pushing minions into the opponent's portal (1 damage).
Brawl will be available from May 14, 2025, until Patch 25.13 goes live on June 24, 2025. Players in EUW, EUN, RU, TR, and ME1 regions can access the mode starting at 8:00 AM Pacific, while the remaining Riot regions will gain access at 11:00 AM Pacific.
Major AP Item Overhaul Reshapes the Meta
Patch 25.10 delivers a comprehensive update to AP itemization, potentially shifting the mage and AP carry landscape. Bloodletter's Curse receives buffs to AP, Health, and Magic Resist Shred per stack. Horizon Focus undergoes a significant transformation with increased AP but the removal of its Hypershot damage amplification.
Several popular items see cost reductions, including Luden's Tempest, Morellonomicon, Nashor's Tooth, Rabadon's Deathcap, and Stormsurge. Seraph's Embrace's shield mechanic changes from "200 + 20% Current Mana" to "18% Max Mana," rewarding maximum mana builds.
What's Changing with Champion Balance?
Ten champions receive balance adjustments, with most changes focusing on role performance. Cho'Gath sees adjustments to balance his mid versus top lane presence, with increased base Attack Speed, decreased Q damage, and increased E damage. Fiddlesticks undergoes changes to better differentiate his support and jungle roles, while Senna receives buffs to her AD builds through increased passive crit chance and soul drop rates.
Other notable changes include reduced jungle performance for Naafiri, buffed damage for Smolder, and modified damage profiles for Vi. Lulu, Kayn, Xin Zhao, and Yuumi receive slight nerfs to keep their power in check.
New Skins and Mythic Shop Expansion
Three new skins arrive on May 14, 2025, at 18:00 UTC: Stargazer Vex, High Noon Yorick, and Blood Moon Ryze. Each skin comes with multiple chromas for additional customization options.
The Mythic Shop expands significantly with 457 icons previously bundled with chromas now available individually at 5 ME each, giving players more affordable options for personalizing their profiles.
Additional Quality of Life Improvements
Unsealed Spellbook users will appreciate the rune's substantial buff, with base recharge cooldown reduced from 5 to 4 minutes and maximum swap cooldown reduced from 2.5 to 1.5 minutes.
Several quality of life improvements arrive with this patch, including enhancements to the social hub and friend list, improved Irelia W mechanics (now pausing passive duration), and better Elise Human W targeting. The death screen spectator UI can now be dragged for better viewing flexibility.
