Riot Games has unveiled Teamfight Tactics Patch 14.3, set to launch on April 29, 2025, introducing innovative Hacks to multiple game systems and implementing extensive balance changes across traits and champions.

New Hacking Systems Transform TFT Gameplay

The upcoming patch brings a variety of Hacks to core TFT systems, starting with Carousel Hacks that significantly alter how players acquire champions. New options include Tome Carousels offering Emblems tailored to your composition, 2-star Carousels, expanded Big Carousels with 15 champions instead of 9, and cost-specific Carousels featuring all 3-cost or 4-cost units.

Opening Encounter Hacks add strategic depth with options like "To Split or Not to Split," where players choose between splitting gold or taking guaranteed amounts after each Carousel. "Group Investing" allows players to increase the total gold pot for future rounds, while "Reroll Subscription" grants free shop rerolls at the start of each stage. Another exciting addition, "Three Champions," starts players with a unique two-star 2-cost champion.

Expanded Hacked Orb Contents

Hacked Orbs receive new consumable options including Bag of Gold (granting increasing amounts of gold when used on champions), Salvager (breaking down champions' items into components plus an unstable component), and Implants that permanently boost a champion's health or attack speed until sold.

Other additions include Starter Kits providing 1-, 2-, and 3-cost units with a shared trait, and Nesting Dolls that spawn progressively better orbs. These new tools give players more strategic flexibility throughout matches in League of Legends' auto-battler mode.

Major Trait Adjustments

Several traits receive significant reworks in Patch 14.3. Anima Squad now counts total star level at the start of combat rather than surviving members, benefiting teams with higher-star units while nerfing one-star heavy compositions. A.M.P. gets buffed with increased Power Charges and HP at higher breakpoints, while Cypher sees AD/AP improvements at its highest tier.

Exotech weapons undergo comprehensive rebalancing to create more viable options. Cybercoil gets armor/MR buffs, Flux Capacitor sees reduced shock damage but improved attack speed and AD, and Holobow gains AP while losing some crit bonuses and stacking potential.

Which Champions Are Getting Buffed?

Bruisers receive substantial buffs across the board. One-costs like Alistar, Dr. Mundo, Kog'Maw, Morgana, and Zyra all gain significant damage increases, with Morgana's ability duration more than doubling from 10 to 16 seconds. For 4-costs, Aphelios gets a mana cost reduction and improved Chakram bonuses, while Cho'Gath benefits from faster casting and better HP scaling.

Conversely, popular 2-cost carries face nerfs, with Jhin losing starting mana, Twisted Fate gaining less AP per auto-attack, and Vayne seeing mana adjustments. Among 3-costs, Rengar gets a health reduction while Braum and Yuumi receive buffs. Five-cost units see mixed changes, with Aurora and Viego receiving nerfs while Kobuko gets a complete ability rework.

Augment Balance Changes

Numerous augments undergo adjustments, with significant nerfs to powerful options. Lucky Gloves no longer provides a third glove, Hall of Mirrors has been disabled entirely, and Vampiric Vitality's healing is reduced from 20% to 12%. Other notable changes include Cybernetic Uplink III and Item Collector II nerfs, while Subscription Service and Glass Cannon II receive buffs.

Teamfight Tactics Patch 14.3 launches on April 29, 2025. Players can view the complete patch notes on the official TFT Game Updates page.
