Riot Games has announced the return of Teamfight Tactics' popular music-themed set, Remix Rumble, arriving as a Revival event from May 14 through July 29, 2025. The set brings back fan-favorite musical champions with fresh augments and exciting new band combinations.
Remix Rumble Revival Brings Back Musical Mayhem
League of Legends' auto-battler mode Teamfight Tactics (TFT) is hitting the stage again with the return of Remix Rumble in patch 14.4. Starting May 14 and running until July 29, 2025, players can once again assemble their dream musical lineups featuring K/DA, True Damage, Pentakill, Heartsteel, DJ Sona, Maestro Jhin, and Jazz Bard.
Headliner Mechanic Makes Its Encore
The beloved Headliner mechanic returns, allowing players to purchase 2-star copies of champions with additional trait bonuses. Headliners appear in every shop when a player doesn't have one, and every four shops afterward. Each Headliner takes three copies from the champion pool, with special restrictions for high-cost units.
What's New in the Champion Pool?
The Revival returns to a shared champion pool with increased sizes for reroll champions:
Champion Cost | Bag Size |
---|---|
1-costs | 50 copies |
2-costs | 40 copies |
3-costs | 30 copies |
4-costs | 12 copies |
5-costs | 10 copies |
Musical Mashups: New Band-Mixing Augments
The Revival introduces exciting new augments that combine different musical themes, creating powerful synergies between bands:
- Rap Queen: Combines K/DA and True Damage, allowing your strongest Akali to share bonuses between bands when she casts
- Retro Gamers: Merges Heartsteel and 8-bit, granting Heartsteel champions Attack Damage for each 8-bit champion
- Metal Punkheads: Fuses Pentakill with Punk, giving Punks damage amplification for each Pentakill champion
- Rave Festival: Blends Disco and EDM, enabling Disco Balls to cast EDM champion abilities
Cyber City Infiltration
Remix Rumble Revival isn't just about music - Cyber City elements will appear through special Augment Hacks during Opening Encounters and Augment rounds. Players can expect unique encounters with Ahri, Akali, and Zac, each offering different advantages:
Champion | Encounter Benefit |
---|---|
Ahri | Makes Headliners appear as if you're 1 level higher |
Akali | Headliner champions grant plus-one to another trait |
Zac | Introduces Cyber City hacks to the game |
Event Pass and Rewards
A new Event Pass will be available for 975 RP, offering various Remix Rumble-themed rewards for players looking to enhance their TFT experience. The pass will be available throughout the Revival event period.
For League of Legends TFT players who missed the original Remix Rumble or want to relive the musical mayhem, this Revival offers the perfect opportunity to experience the set with fresh twists and exciting new combinations. Mark your calendars for May 14, 2025, when the concert begins!
