The annual April Fools' celebration brings the "Mayhem vs. Merriment" event, featuring Party Drake, cat minions, and disco-fueled chaos. The event introduces several temporary changes to non-ranked queues, including Party Drake with its movement speed bonuses, Shaco's cat boxes, and special ARAM modifications.
Five new April Fools' skins will release on April 2, 2025:
- Urgot the Clogfather
- Pool Party Malphite
- Grill Master Braum
- Glizzy Naafiri
- Cat-in-the-Box Shaco
Additionally, Pengu Garen will be available as a free skin for all players during the two-week event period.

Yorick Receives Major Gameplay Adjustments
Yorick mains have reason to celebrate as the Shepherd of Souls receives substantial adjustments aimed at improving his early game and self-reliance. Key changes include:
- More frequent grave generation, including from champion hits
- Improved Mist Walker survivability against champions
- New E armor shred effect (18-30%)
- Reduced Q cooldown and increased healing
- Mist Walker stats now update dynamically as Yorick levels up
These adjustments aim to make Yorick more viable in higher-level play while adding skill expression to his kit. The trade-off comes with reduced late-game damage to balance his newfound early-game strength.
What's Changing for Yone?
Yone receives significant mechanical changes that should please both his players and opponents. His passive no longer reduces critical strike damage by 10%, allowing for more damage output. However, his E ability will no longer cleanse crowd control effects when returning, giving opponents more counterplay opportunities.
