Riot Games is launching LTA Fantasy, a free manager-style game where League of Legends fans can build rosters of professional players from The Americas league. Starting April 2, 2025, players can compete for rewards by managing virtual teams that earn points based on pro players' real-world performances.

Build Your Dream LTA Pro Player Roster Starting April 2

Fans of League of Legends competitive scene can soon step into the shoes of a team manager with LTA Fantasy, launching in beta for Split 2 of the League of Legends: The Americas (LTA) competition. The free-to-play fantasy manager game will allow participants to assemble their dream roster of professional players and earn points based on their real-world performances in official matches.

Sign-ups begin on April 2, 2025, at 12 PM PDT, with players able to register using their Riot ID at LTAFantasy.com. Upon registration, fans will create their own team complete with a custom name, logo, and tricode.

How LTA Fantasy Works

Each fantasy team starts with a budget of 50 gold to acquire pro players for their weekly roster. The system follows a dynamic economy where player values fluctuate based on their weekend performances, directly affecting your available budget for future roster adjustments.

The weekly schedule follows a consistent pattern:

  • Rosters lock every Saturday at 9 AM PDT before LTA games begin
  • Final scores are calculated on Mondays at 12 AM PDT
  • Rosters unlock every Tuesday at 8 AM PDT for adjustments

Fantasy managers can select players from both the North and South conferences of the LTA, creating opportunities for those with comprehensive knowledge of the entire league to gain an advantage.

What's Special About LTA Fantasy's Leaderboard System?

One of the most engaging aspects of LTA Fantasy is its multi-tiered leaderboard system. When signing up, players select their favorite team, which automatically enters them into three default leaderboards: the overall LTA League, their Conference League, and their chosen Team's League.

Beyond these default options, participants can join or create custom leagues with friends, streamers, and other community groups. While the beta version limits each account to a single roster that competes across all joined leagues simultaneously, this still offers plenty of competitive variety.

Rewards for Top Performers

For competitive players aiming to climb the leaderboards, Riot is offering exclusive in-game rewards. The top 100 players in each Conference League at the conclusion of Split 2 will receive a premium skin:

  • North Conference League: Spirit Blossom Yasuo skin
  • South Conference League: Spirit Blossom Yone skin

These rewards will be distributed within 30 days after Split 2 concludes. Importantly, accounts competing in both Conference Leagues will receive only one reward based on their selected favorite team, with the other reward passing to the next player on the leaderboard.

Beta Launch and Future Development

Riot Games has emphasized that this Split 2 launch represents an open beta phase for LTA Fantasy. The company plans to add new features and improvements based on user feedback during this period.

Beyond the fantasy competition aspect, the LTA Fantasy app will also provide valuable resources for fans following the competitive scene, including schedules, statistics, and other LTA-related information.

For those interested in learning more about the scoring system and other details, the full ruleset is available on the official website.

With the LTA Fantasy beta launching on April 2, 2025, at 12 PM PDT, League of Legends esports enthusiasts have a new way to engage with the professional scene while competing for exclusive rewards.
