If you've been playing Inzoi recently, you might have noticed characters with the Outlaw trait taking their role a little too seriously. Krafton has released Hotfix v0.4.5 (Build 16469732 on Steam) to address this specific behavioral quirk, alongside several quality-of-life improvements for simulation stability.
Reining in the Outlaws
The headline change in this patch is a fix for the Outlaw trait. Previously, Zois with this trait would autonomously trigger the "Steal" interaction. While this technically fits the description of an outlaw, having your characters pocket items without your direct input creates chaos that can derail specific storytelling plans. This hotfix ensures that theft remains a player-driven choice rather than an uncontrollable habit.
New Game, Less Noise
Starting a new life simulation save usually involves a barrage of tutorials and welcome messages, but Inzoi was taking it a step too far. The developers have dialed back the frequency of text messages received on the first day of a New Game. This is a solid change for players who frequently restart to test different builds or narratives and don't want their in-game phone buzzing every few seconds.
Simulation and Relationship Fixes
The update also digs into the math behind Zoi needs and relationships. The synchronization between "Need Recovery Speed" and "Autonomous Need Fulfillment Speed" has been corrected, meaning Zois should be better at taking care of themselves without micromanagement.
On the relationship front, a bug involving failed divorce conversations has been squashed. Previously, characters weren't gaining the correct emotions after a divorce attempt failed, which flattened the drama of a breakup. Now, the emotional fallout should properly reflect the awkwardness of the situation.
Full Patch Notes Highlights
- Icons: Improved icon display when visiting properties.
- Outlaw Trait: Fixed issue where Outlaw Zois would autonomously perform the 'Steal' interaction.
- Phone: Reduced excessive text message frequency on Day 1.
- Farming: Fixed an issue where crops wouldn't grow if the camera was zoomed in.
- Emotions: Fixed incorrect emotion gain after a failed divorce conversation.
Why are my mods disabled?
As is standard with Inzoi updates, the game automatically disables all mods once the patch is applied. This is a safety measure to prevent crashes caused by incompatible code. You will need to check for updates from mod creators before re-enabling them to ensure your save files remain stable.
