New Communication Strategy Unveiled
Following the Early Access release of Inzoi, developer Kjun from Krafton has penned an open letter to the community, introducing three new communication formats designed to keep players informed and involved in the ongoing development process.
The new formats include regular "Kjun's Letters" providing development insights, "Monthly Known Issues" reports detailing bugs being addressed, and "inZOI @" preview sessions featuring live Q&A opportunities before major updates.
Upcoming Content Roadmap
Players can look forward to two major content updates scheduled for May and August 2023. The development team is currently working on immediate hotfixes while simultaneously preparing these larger content drops, though specific details about what these updates will include weren't revealed.
Kjun mentioned that some of the upcoming content had been previously showcased during a presentation in March 2023, suggesting that attentive fans might already have hints about what's coming.
Why Early Access?
In the letter, Kjun explained that Inzoi was intentionally released as an Early Access title despite its imperfections. This approach allows the development team to gather crucial player feedback and shape the game's future with community input, effectively making players partners in the development process.
A Personal Touch
Beyond the roadmap announcements, Kjun shared personal reflections on the emotional journey of releasing the game, comparing it to becoming a parent. The developer acknowledged both the joy and anxiety involved in creating something new and releasing it to the world.
This unusually candid approach suggests Krafton is committed to transparent development as they continue refining their life simulation title where players shape environments and influence the destinies of in-game inhabitants.
The full release version of Inzoi is scheduled to launch on March 28, 2025, for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
