Emotions Now Drive Conversations in Inzoi
The most substantial change in this hotfix expands Inzoi's conversation system to reflect Zois' primary emotions. Characters can now express 22 distinct emotional states, ranging from joy and excitement to anger, fear, and depression. This enhancement creates more immersive social interactions, with Zois exhibiting more intense or aggressive behavior during strong emotional moments.
Krafton has indicated that future updates will introduce mechanisms to help Zois calm down more naturally after experiencing intense emotions, creating a more realistic social simulation.
Karma System Refinements
The update delivers five significant improvements to the karma interaction system:
- Psycat Alerts for karma level declines have been disabled, reducing the feeling of judgment during negative situations
- Karma rating criteria adjusted from "slightly bad or lower/normal or higher" to "bad or lower/good"
- Reduced frequency of Karma Choice Prompts for less disruptive gameplay
- New conditions for Karma-Related Interactions based on emotional states and relationships
- 50% decrease in Karma Interaction Selection Rate for more gradual progression
What's Been Fixed in the Latest Update?
The hotfix addresses numerous bugs across various game systems. Players experiencing issues with the time passage in ghost mode when using the "Play as Existing Family" option will find this resolved. Other gameplay fixes include corrections to pregnancy attempts with seven household members and solutions for MY Textures display problems on walls, floors, and ceilings.
Career and interaction bugs have also been addressed, fixing issues where married NPCs would automatically change into work uniforms after manual clothes changes, and where Zois would switch to rabbit hole work uniforms outside working hours. The "Propose Marriage" interaction now properly completes the marriage process instead of just moving in partners.
Build Mode Improvements
The update includes several enhancements to the Build and Create modes. The texture sorting system has been updated so imported textures are added to the bottom of the list in descending order. Newly imported textures now automatically scroll into view and receive focus, improving workflow efficiency.
Krafton has also fixed crashes related to editing colors or materials during Build or Create a Zoi mode, as well as crashes that occurred when deleting a 3D print mesh while a Zoi was wearing a 3D print accessory.
This hotfix represents Krafton's ongoing commitment to refining Inzoi's gameplay systems ahead of its full release on March 28, 2025, for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
