Epic Games has launched a nostalgic new Reload map called "Slurp Rush" in Fortnite with the v34.30 hotfix on April 15, 2025. The map brings back beloved Chapter 2 locations and introduces a refreshed weapon pool, rank reset, and new Vanguard Zadie rewards through account leveling quests.
Slurp Rush Map Features Chapter 2 Nostalgia
The new Slurp Rush map will be the exclusive Reload map for two weeks until joining the regular map rotation on April 29, 2025. As the name suggests, the island is saturated with Slurp, reducing players' reliance on Shield Potions throughout matches.
Returning locations include The Slurpworks, Steamy Stacks, and Dirty Docks, giving players a chance to revisit these fan-favorite Chapter 2 points of interest with Fortnite's updated gameplay mechanics.
Extensive Weapon Pool Refresh
The v34.30 hotfix introduces numerous weapons to the loot pool, including the Infantry Rifle, multiple Assault Rifle variants, SMGs, and diverse shotgun options. The Hunting Rifle, Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle, and Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle have also made their return, alongside the mobility-enhancing Jetpack.
Weapons remaining from the previous pool include the Tactical Assault Rifle, Revolver, Combat Pistol, Combat SMG, Pump Shotgun, Tactical Shotgun, and Rocket Launcher.
Ranked Reset and New Rewards
A rank reset has occurred for both Ranked Reload and Ranked Reload Zero Build. Players need to complete one match in each mode to reveal their new ranks, which are based on their previous performance.
The update introduces the Vanguard Zadie Outfit and accessories, available through account leveling quests. Players who log in between April 15 and May 6, 2025, can access these quests, with a completion deadline of June 7, 2025:
- Earn 15 Account Levels to unlock Zadie's Blade Pickaxe
- Earn 30 Account Levels to unlock Zadie's Blade Back Bling
- Earn 50 Account Levels to unlock the Vanguard Zadie Outfit
How Can Players Get Elite Zadie?
For competitive players, the Elite Zadie Outfit will be available through the Elite Zadie Reload Cups on April 26-27, 2025. Epic has confirmed that additional opportunities to earn this exclusive outfit will be available in May.
Slurp Rush Twitch Drops
From April 15-21, 2025, Fortnite fans can earn exclusive cosmetics by watching Twitch streams:
- Watch 30 minutes to earn the Elite's Sigil Wrap
- Watch 1 hour to earn the Route Kit Back Bling
Players must connect their Epic and Twitch accounts before claiming these drops. Epic has noted that these items may eventually appear in the Fortnite Shop at a later date.
