Sabrina Carpenter Takes Center Stage in Fortnite Festival Season 8

Epic Games has announced that global superstar and two-time Grammy winner Sabrina Carpenter will be the featured artist for Fortnite Festival Season 8. The new season kicks off on April 8, 2025, bringing a collection of Sabrina's biggest hits to the game, including "Nonsense," "Juno," "Please Please Please," "Taste," "Espresso," and "Feather."

The Season 8 Music Pass will offer both free and premium rewards, with the latter available for 1,400 V-Bucks or through a Fortnite Crew subscription. Players can earn these rewards by accumulating XP in any Fortnite experience, not just Festival mode.

What's New in Fortnite Festival Season 8?

Season 8 introduces several gameplay enhancements to the Festival experience:

Dance Emotes Get an Upgrade

Most Fortnite Emotes that include dancing will now be called "Dance Emotes" in the Locker. While using a Dance Emote, any player can join in with the same dance at the press of a button, even if they don't own the Emote. These multiplayer Emotes, currently called "Synced Emotes," will be renamed "Group Emotes."

Jam Stage Improvements

Later in Season 8, players will be able to lay down up to four loops simultaneously, depending on how many other players are jamming together. This new feature will allow for using loops from different Jam Tracks to create a full mix, whether playing solo or with friends.

The joining process has also been streamlined, allowing players to join a jam with a single button press. If you're starting the jam, you can instantly kick it off with all loops of a Jam Track.

Audio-Visual Tune-Up Process Improvements

Epic Games has made the audio-visual tune-up process more accurate than ever before. Players will now be able to set up separate tune-up profiles for different audio setups, such as switching between a Bluetooth headset and a soundbar.

Favorited Outfits as Bandmates

Starting in Season 8, all Outfits that players have favorited in their Locker will be added to the random mix of bandmates who can fill in for their band onstage. These Outfits will bring Back Blings, Kicks, and Instruments that have been favorited, adding a personal touch to performances when friends are offline.

Content Creation Guidelines

For content creators, monetization of VOD content featuring eligible Jam Tracks will be limited to the first seven days of Season 8. No takedown notifications should occur during or after this period, though content creators should expect to receive monetization claims by the respective rights holders after the initial period.

The eligible Jam Tracks for Season 8 monetization are "Please Please Please" and "Taste" by Sabrina Carpenter. To monetize Festival content, creators need to link their YouTube and Support-A-Creator accounts.

For Twitch streamers, Epic Games notes they cannot prevent VODs or clips from being flagged by third-party copyright detection systems. The recommendation is to disable VODs/clips when streaming gameplay featuring the Jam Tracks. More information is available on Twitch's DMCA & Copyright FAQs help page.

Fortnite Festival Season 8 launches on April 8, 2025, bringing a sweet taste of Sabrina Carpenter's musical artistry to the ever-evolving world of Fortnite.
