Epic Games is taking players back to where Fortnite's iconic storyline began, with Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 3 launching on March 25, 2025. The nostalgic update reintroduces Lucky Landing, brings back the ominous meteor that first teased the game's narrative direction, and resurrects fan-favorite weapons like the Guided Missile—unavailable since 2018. Players can also enjoy the return of the original 50v50 Limited-Time Mode and unlock new cosmetics through the OG Pass.

The Meteor Returns: Fortnite OG Season 3 Revives Epic Storyline

The mysterious meteor that once captivated the Fortnite community is back in the sky, growing closer as the season progresses. This celestial phenomenon originally kicked off the Battle Royale's first major storyline back in 2018, eventually leading to massive map changes. Veterans will appreciate this faithful recreation of one of the game's most memorable narrative devices, while newcomers get to experience a piece of gaming history firsthand.

Lucky Landing Makes Its Return

The picturesque Lucky Landing Point of Interest is making a comeback, bringing its distinctive ornate architecture and cherry blossoms to the battle royale island. This compact town offers abundant loot opportunities and tight streets that create perfect scenarios for intense close-quarter combat.

This nostalgic mode will be available until April 14, 2025, at 9 AM UTC, giving players three weeks to enjoy the large-scale combat.
