Epic Games has released Fortnite Battle Royale v34.10 update on March 11, 2025, bringing back the fan-favorite Getaway Limited Time Mode from Chapter 1 while introducing Outlaw Midas and an arsenal of new weapons. The update adds significant content to Chapter 6 Season 2: LAWLESS, including the first-ever ranked version of an LTM and the return of the Siphon mechanic to ranked play.

The Getaway LTM Returns with a Ranked Twist

The Getaway Limited Time Mode makes its triumphant return to Fortnite after being absent since Chapter 1. Available from March 11 to April 1, 2025, this heist-themed mode challenges teams to retrieve one of four Crystal Llamas (Jewels) and extract them in Getaway Vans to secure victory. The first three teams to successfully reach a van with their Jewel win the match.

Players holding a Jewel will move slower and be visible on the map, but will benefit from continuous Health and Shield regeneration. The mode is available in both Build and Zero Build variants for Duos or Squads, giving players flexibility in how they approach the heist.

For the first time in Fortnite history, The Getaway is being offered as a Ranked LTM, featuring increased rank progression and special bonuses for successfully extracting Jewels. This marks a significant evolution in how Epic Games approaches limited-time modes.

Outlaw Midas Joins the LAWLESS Season

Battle Pass owners can now unlock the highly anticipated Outlaw Midas Outfit after earning 10 Account Levels. This western-themed take on the popular character comes with multiple Style variants including Gunslinger, SHADOW, and GHOST, allowing players to customize their look.

Additional Outlaw Midas cosmetics are unlockable through Account Level progression, including the Outlaw's Knife Rack Back Bling, Outlaw's Whipknives Pickaxe, Bullet Rider Glider, and the Trouble's Comin' Emote. Players have until the end of Chapter 6 Season 2 on May 2, 2025, to unlock all these items.

How Do You Join the Outlaw Faction?

The v34.10 update introduces a new community Quest challenging players to drain Fletcher Kane of resources by stealing Bars. Completing this Quest grants basic Outlaw faction membership, which includes an upgradable Outlaw Keycard with four progressive tiers:

  • Uncommon: Access to Black Market backrooms with Exotic items and hired muscle
  • Rare: Access to Outlaw Chests for free Bars
  • Epic: Ability to purchase premium loadouts from Black Market shopkeepers
  • Legendary: Outlaw Chests will also drop Legendary items and Dill Bits

New Weapons and Black Market Exotics

The update introduces several new weapons to the Fortnite loot pool. Players can find the Outlaw Shotgun, Rocket Drill, and the innovative Pump & Dump (a dual-wielded Shotgun and SMG in one slot) in regular Chests across the island.

For those with access to Black Markets and enough Dill Bits to spend, six new Exotic weapons are available for purchase:

  • Lawless Slap Cannon: Fires healing Slap at allies
  • Lawless Blink Pump & Dump: Grants Zero Point Dash after reloading
  • Lawless Stink Rifle: Creates stink clouds on impact
  • Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher: Impulses players on explosion
  • Lawless Trinity Assault Rifle: Fires four shots in triangle pattern
  • Lawless Heavy Impact Tracking Rifle: Reveals locations of players and Chests

Siphon Returns to Ranked Play

In a move that will please competitive players, the Siphon mechanic has returned to Ranked Battle Royale and Zero Build for the remainder of the LAWLESS season. When eliminating opponents, players will gain 75 Health over five seconds, providing a crucial advantage in intense firefights.

It's worth noting that Siphon is not available in Ranked OG, Reload, or the new Ranked Getaway LTM, making the standard Ranked modes even more distinct in their gameplay experience.

When Does the LAWLESS Season End?

Players have until May 2, 2025, to experience all the content in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: LAWLESS, including unlocking all Outlaw Midas cosmetics through the Battle Pass. The Getaway LTM will be available for a shorter period, ending on April 1, 2025.

With the return of a classic LTM, the introduction of Outlaw Midas, and an arsenal of new weapons to master, Fortnite v34.10 delivers a substantial update that should keep players engaged throughout the remainder of the LAWLESS season. Whether you're planning heists in The Getaway or upgrading your Outlaw Keycard for Black Market access, there's plenty of new content to explore.
