The Steam Awards season is officially open, and Chief Rebel is calling on its community to rally behind their debut title. The developers are asking players to nominate Fellowship for the "Better With Friends" category, a designation that aligns directly with the game's core design philosophy.
Why the Nomination Fits the Meta
While many games slap a multiplayer tag on a single-player experience, Fellowship was built from the ground up as a cooperative endeavor. The game revolves strictly around the "Holy Trinity" of MMO mechanics—Tank, Healer, and DPS—scaled down to a tight 4-player dungeon crawler format. You can't brute force these dungeons solo; the mechanics require actual communication and role synergy.
If you have spent time coordinating pulls, managing cooldowns with your squad, or arguing over who stood in the fire during a high-level key, you have experienced exactly what the "Better With Friends" award is meant to recognize. The game creates those specific moments where teamwork is the only win condition.
How to Cast Your Vote
If you feel the dungeon-running experience deserves the nod, you can head over to the Steam store page to cast your nomination. The Steam Awards are entirely community-driven, meaning only the games with the most active player bases usually make the final cut for the voting round in December.
With the game recently launching in October 2025, this is Chief Rebel's first opportunity to secure hardware for their MOBA-ARPG hybrid. If the coordination required to clear a dungeon has brought you closer to your gaming group (or at least given you something to laugh about after a wipe), consider dropping a nomination.
