Heads up, survivors of Arrakis. Funcom has scheduled a server downtime for Dune: Awakening on November 18, 2025, to deploy Patch 1.2.20.0. The maintenance is expected to last approximately 3.5 hours, so make sure your water discipline is in order before the servers go offline.
The deployment is set to begin at 8:00 CET / 7:00 UTC. Once the maintenance is complete, you'll need to download a new client patch before you can step back onto the sands of Arrakis.
Patch Notes on Standby
Interestingly, Funcom is holding the full patch notes until after the deployment is finished. This means we'll be discovering the exact balance adjustments, bug fixes, and any new quality-of-life features firsthand once we log back in. It's a bit of a mystery box, but it adds a layer of discovery to returning to the desert.
For now, the most important thing is to plan around the outage. Finish up any critical crafting, secure your base, and park your Ornithopter somewhere safe before the servers go down.
When can I play Dune: Awakening again?
Assuming the 3.5-hour window holds, servers for Dune: Awakening should be back online around 11:30 CET / 10:30 UTC on November 18th. Keep in mind that unexpected issues can sometimes extend maintenance periods. We'll be keeping an eye out for the official patch notes and will have a full breakdown once they're available.
