Studio Wildcard has announced the Eggcellent Adventure event coming to ARK: Survival Ascended from April 16-30, 2025. The Easter-themed celebration will feature special creatures, cosmetics, and increased rates. Additionally, Astraeos transfers are now fully open, and the studio is addressing a recent cryopod issue with compensation measures.
Eggcellent Adventure Brings Easter Festivities to ARK
Survivors will soon be able to hop into the springtime spirit as ARK: Survival Ascended's Eggcellent Adventure event returns with festive new content. Running from April 16 to April 30, 2025, the event introduces Bunny Dodos and Bunny Oviraptors that will scatter special eggs across the ARK.
These eggs can be collected, painted, or crafted into holiday-themed cosmetics, including new items like the Flower Wreath, Shepard's Crook Spear Skin, and Lamb Costume Skin. Players can also obtain event-specific chibis such as the Bunny, Easter Chick, Jerbunny, and Spring Shinehorn.
Bonus Rates as Compensation for Cryopod Issue
Studio Wildcard has also addressed a recent technical issue that caused some cryopods to expire unexpectedly. A patch intended to fix Cryo Fridge power state issues resulted in some players losing their stored creatures when the fridges correctly updated their power status.
After evaluating the situation, the team decided against a rollback as it would have caused "greater loss for a larger group of players" due to the high volume of recent transfers with the opening of Astraeos.
As compensation, ARK: Survival Ascended will feature enhanced rates during the event:
