A live update scheduled for November 25, 2025, is setting the stage for the holidays in Arena Breakout: Infinite. While the Winter Festival brings the expected cosmetic flair, the immediate changes to inventory rules and weapon behavior will likely have a more significant impact on your daily raids.
Raid Gear Restrictions Tighten
The most tactical shift in this patch involves how you enter the Dark Zone. The developers are implementing a restriction that prevents players from bringing chest rigs or backpacks into a raid unless they are actively equipped in the proper slot. This effectively kills any strategies involving stacking extra storage containers in your inventory to maximize loot potential or mule gear for squadmates. If it's not on your back or chest, it stays in the stash.
Additionally, the "Miraculous Pumpkin" item is officially banned from raids. If you were relying on seasonal items for specific buffs or interactions, you'll need to adjust your loadout immediately.
Winter Festival and New Consumables
The Winter Festival event officially kicks off on November 28, bringing a new consumable to the meta: the Winter Palmier. Unlike standard provisions, this food item provides a "sedating" effect. While the patch notes don't reveal the exact stat multipliers, sedatives in tactical shooters typically assist with aiming stability or stress management, potentially making this a valuable item for snipers holding long angles on Northridge.
Players can also grind for the Winter Festival AN-94 skin through event challenges. Later, starting December 5, the Winter Gold Chest event will introduce the Winter Elf P90 skin. Daily logins during the festival window will grant Koen and Vouchers, helping subsidize those expensive loadouts.
Technical Fixes: Mk14 and Terrain
For the gunplay purists, the fix to the Mk14's recoil is the headline here. The patch addresses an issue where the weapon's recoil was displaying abnormally, which should make the battle rifle feel more consistent in sustained engagements. Several map exploits are also being patched out, specifically spots where players could get stuck on Northridge terrain and exploit areas on the Farm and TV Station maps.
Will we get a Collection Room?
Looking beyond this patch, the developers recently touched on a community request regarding "red items"—high-value collectibles that currently just take up space. In a November 23 communication, the team mentioned they are considering a "collection room" feature for the future. While not in this update, it suggests a shift toward giving collectors a way to display their trophies rather than just selling them to contacts.
