Super Mario Galaxy 64 is a hack of Super Mario Galaxy 2 which remakes levels from Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. It isn't an exact remake, as several assets and mechanics have been altered for a more unique experience and one that better suits the Galaxy 2 engine. There is no confirmed release date currently, but the hack is closer than ever to completion, so do understand that it is by no means dead.
