This chapter in Fortnite's ongoing story sees time itself become unstable, with past and future locations reappearing on the island in altered forms due to a volatile Zero Point. Players can experience this narrative through the Battle Pass, which offers over 100 rewards, including instant outfits and unlockable cosmetics. New gameplay elements include the two-player B.R.U.T.E. mech vehicle, designed for cooperative combat, and thematic Missions that provide objectives for players to complete.
