Destiny: Rise of Iron is an expansion for Destiny, released in 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It introduces a new cinematic story campaign set in the Plaguelands, a dangerous new region on Earth. Players join Lord Saladin to face the Splicer Fallen and uncover the mystery of the Iron Lords. The expansion adds new weapons, armor, gear, a three-player cooperative Strike, new Crucible modes and maps, and a six-player cooperative Raid. This content requires the base Destiny game.
