New Shard Cards Shake Up the Fight
The highlight of this patch is easily Vol. 3 of the New Shard Cards event. Bad Guitar Studio is injecting a fresh dose of unpredictability into Shard Clash and Chaos Clash modes. Some of these modifiers are going to completely redefine the flow of a round, forcing even veteran players to rethink their tactics on the fly.
How will the new Shard Cards change the meta?
While the full list is extensive, a few standouts are poised to make an immediate impact:
- Healing Reload: Every time you reload your weapon, you regain health. This is a massive buff for duelists and aggressive fraggers, allowing you to re-engage much faster without falling back to a support. Heroes with small magazines could become surprisingly resilient.
- Exploding Bodies: When a player is eliminated, their body explodes, dealing damage to nearby enemies. This card punishes teams for grouping up too tightly and rewards players who can secure a kill in the middle of a pack. Expect some wild multi-kills from a single well-placed shot.
- Dance Fever: This sounds like pure, disruptive fun. Forcing enemies into an uncontrollable dance will be the ultimate tool for breaking up a coordinated push or defending a point. It's a high-tier chaos card, and we're here for it.
Witch's Challenge: Sticker Magic Event
Running alongside the new card drops, the 'Witch's Challenge: Sticker Magic' event also begins on November 13. By completing specific in-game challenges, you can unlock exclusive cosmetic stickers and stock up on valuable in-game currency. It's a great way to earn some new flair while you're getting used to making your enemies' corpses explode.
The update was deployed without requiring a client download, so you can jump right in. The new cards and the event go live tomorrow—get ready to adapt, because the battlefield is about to get a lot weirder.
